Currently, Blue Air operates 29 Boeing 737 aircraft, with series 737-300, 737-400, 737-500, 737-700 and 737-800 with a capacity between 120 and 189 seats.

In the summer of 2017, Blue Air announced a firm order of twelve Boeing 737-8 MAX 8 aircraft, that will enter the fleet starting in the second quarter of 2019.
Blue Air’s fleet was retrofitted with a more comfortable, better designed seat – Recaro. Passengers can now experience one of the lightest class of seats, designed for relaxation, with reclinable backrests.
Blue Air currently operates two Boeing 737-300s, six Boeing 737-400s and six Boeing 737-500s. The new MAX 8s will replace the Boeing 737 Classics. The new MAX 8s will be delivered in the 2019 – 2021 time frame. The -300s are likely to be the first type to be replaced since there are only two aircraft. The -300s and -400s are expected to be retired by 2020 and the -500s likely by 2021 when the last new aircraft is delivered.
